what Does It Mean to Be Serious?
p. 219
Q: What does it mean to be serious?
A: Being serious means consistency and integrity of action. Being serious means you won't betray yourself or your deepest convictions. Most people betray themselves all the time. When you are truly serious you can no longer live alife made up of compromise and hypocrisy. Many people assume that they are serious because they think that they want to be Free. It is only your behavior that expresses what you truly want, not what you think you want. 2 1 9
