The Choices Are the Known and the Unknown Q: It seems that in coming to clarity of intention, one should be clear about what the choices are. A : T h e c h o i c e s a r e t h e k n o w n a n d t h e u n k n o w n . T h e r e are no other choices. The unknown includes everything and excludes nothing, but the known excludes quite abit. The known means time and space, thought and memory. The unknown is much more than that. It means w i t h o u t l i m i t s . Q: This frightens me. It makes me feel lonely and powerless.

A: If you are lucky you will find yourself utterly power¬ less and at the mercy of precisely what you are afraid of. Q: Is there aspecific way to deal with this fear?

A: Yes. Clarity of intention. This means being absolutely clear and utterly doubtless about wanting to be Free here and now in this very birth. That means being ready right now, come what may. 2 7
