Self-Realization Is the Discovery of Pure Consciousness The realization of Enlightenment is the recognition of consciousness itself. Most people are not aware of consciousness. They are only aware of the objects that m a n i f e s t i n c o n s c i o u s n e s s . Self-realization is the discovery of pure consciousness. What makes you happy is the knowledge of con¬ sciousness itself. When you realize that, you are happy. It is when consciousness itself is ve)^ self-evident that you will be most happy. In the midst of this awareness, there is the apparent existence of this world. It is not your recognition of the presence of the world that makes you happy. It is the awareness of consciousness itself that is the source of your true happiness.
