We're all very fortunate that the energy and intelligence that created the universe is being so kind and compassionate that she's giving all of us yet another chance to let go of everything. So if we want to be free and we want to be happy, spiritually happy, metaphysically happy, if we want to awaken to the light of enlightened awareness, then the secret is letting go. It's not a mystery. So when we approach the awakening to enlightened awareness through the meditative process, the secret is to learn how to let go of everything starting with the mind of course. We want to learn how to be good at that because life is unpredictable, won't throw us all kind of curve balls. So letting go is not something we only want to do if we want to awake to enlightened awareness. But if we also want to live a a sane and meaningful life and have a strong center and a strong core and find a deep sense of balance and control in our lives. So think about this in a way that's very simple and non complex, not too confusing. To awaken to enlightened awareness, we have to let go of the mind. And so the meditative process in the pursuit of the awakening to enlightened awareness is really about letting go of the mind with the full intention to awaken completely and unconditionally and totally and absolutely to attain what the Buddha attained. Know what he knew. So the easiest way to do that and the most efficient way to do that is to contemplate the nature of zero or nothingness emptiness because the goal in the meditative process in the pursuit to the awakening to the enlightened awareness is to discover that place that exists before the beginning and after the end. It's a mysterious space or no place where we find that ultimate mystery that transcends life and death. It's always found before the beginning and after the end of everything. So before the beginning is where we've come from. After the end is where we're all going inevitably. And it's a place where we can find the source of unconditional liberation and perfect happiness and even eternity. That which is eternal, that which is unborn and uncreated. So as we're sitting quietly together, we don't want to try and work anything out or come to terms with anything. We just want to let go of everything. In the pursuit of inner freedom as an inner freedom in this case that we want to be unconditional with no ifs, ands, buts, or may or should be or could be. Ideally, it's a freedom that's not dependent upon conditions, any kind of outer conditions. So just be very still. Just sit very very still and see absolutely everything. See absolutely everything while focusing on no one thing. See everything and focus on nothing. And be diligent as you allow your awareness to expand outward in all directions. See everything but focus on no thing. It's that in between place or in between no space. But we want to abide that as I said exists before the beginning and after the end of everything. To see everything and focus on nothing. See everything and focus on no one thing. And and try to sustain your capacity to see everything and focus on no one thing. Try to be very steady, very focused and very deliberate, very awake, very purposeful, very committed. Feel inside yourself the intention to go all the way without compromising. see everything. Focus on the one thing. Contemplate having nothing. Knowing nothing, being no one. Contemplate having nothing, knowing nothing, being no one. Going back to before the beginning and staying there without doubt, without fear, going back to zero, which is before the beginning, having nothing, knowing nothing, being no one eternally for eternity. Seeing everything and focusing on the one thing. The only intention is to be free of everything without conditions here and Oh, you can let go of all of it. The mind is not an obstacle. See everything and focus on the one thing. My guru once said to me, "When you cease to make a distinction between samsara and nirvana, you'll be free. See everything and focus on no one thing. Just pay attention and let go. It's all you have to do. Pay attention and let go. Pay attention and let go. Pay attention and let go. Be very steady, focused with intention and be free. having nothing, knowing nothing and being no one is the path and the goal. Pay attention and let go. Pay attention and let go. Pay attention and let go. zero is the only reference point right now. Having nothing, knowing nothing, being no one. Pay attention and let go. Pay attention and let go. Pay attention and let go. Keep paying attention is the most important thing. always return to zero. Which means having nothing, knowing nothing, being no one. Paying intention and letting go. Stay present and focused. Experience the freedom of being.
