so the idea here is we want to go from where we already have come back to before the beginning that's the step back to zero back to before the beginning and this step of going from where we are to back to before the beginning is not just something we do as a as a as a a as um as a it's not just something we do once ideally this absolute zero this ground becomes a experiential and also a then it becomes an experiential a philosophical a psychological an emotional psychological and a metaphysical reference point for us at all times a very big part of the of a transformational process is Awakening to and discovering of of purity of motive a very pure kind of motivation a a Pure Source of motivation an un a part of a a a a source of motivation that's uncorrupted everybody a source of motivation of human motivation of spiritual motivation that's uncorrupted by time and history and it most specifically it's uncorrupted by ego so it's a Pure Source of motivation that has been not has been tainted or corrupted by your or anybody else's ego it's pure you follow so that's what you the reason for this exercise is you want want to discover and access to a Pure Source of higher spiritual uh motivation that is uncorrupted and it exists within all of us you it exists within all of you but you need to be very disciplined within yourself in order to actually Discover it and uh you have to be very serious in order to discover this this very pure motivation because there there is a Pure Source of spiritual motivation that exists within you that's the best part of who you are it's the best part of who I am it's the best part of who each each and every one of us is and discovering and loc locating that that Pure Source of pure motive high of higher spiritual motive is what's going to do is is how this works how this is how it really works when it works the right way doesn't always work the right way but when it works the right way and we all want it to work the right way that's what is working within you that's you find access to that kind of pure motivation within yourself and that is the most important part of all this it's most the most precious so once again it's a source of motivation that's uncorrupted by time and history and most specifically it's uncorrupted by ego by your ego you follow because everybody's always say I don't know if I can do this and blah blah blah I don't know if I can always you know your ego never want as we were talking your ego never wanted to do it anyway but as many times as I say that people don't really believe me or even if they do believe me they they're so identified with how their ego relates to just about everything that they they can't stick with it long enough to actually grasp the overwhelming significance of what I'm trying to share so there's a source of within all of you of pure motive that you need to find access to that has nothing to do with your ego and the only way to discover it is you have to go back to before the beginning you have to go back before your ego was born before your separate self sense was born you have to go to discover a different source and location of motivation that has nothing to do with anything else that's been motivating you or driving you up until this point and that's why this step of going from where you already are back to before the beginning back to absolute zero is so fundamental to this process now a lot of people mess this up and you know everybody's on their own with it I can only tell you how this works I can tell you exactly what you have to do but if you do this right you have to do it right and don't mess it up so the way you don't mess it up is you keep your ego out of this particular part of it you really keep your ego out of the picture your ego is always going to be there always going to have to do battle with our egos and that's a big part of higher Spiritual Development and it will always be but this particular step I'm speaking about is essential and a lot of people can't just keep the it's like keeping your hands out of the cookie jar you know stay out and it's very serious because if if you don't you your ego gets you your ego gets all wrapped up in this and it just messes it all up know you can see people that have a lot of potential at the beginning and they they don't have enough self-discipline they don't have enough courage enough humility to keep their ego out of the process and their ego gets all involved with it and then they they wonder why they don't really continue to make progress and that's the only reason why they don't so uh so so therefore we want to go from where we already are right back to zero and the way we get to zero is you can you do it through a meditative approach and you also do it through the path of contemplation so through meditation as I've been saying we we you know through the assuming no relationships to the content of consciousness medit on no thing whatsoever that's one source of access to absolute zero and those people whose ego is not messing this process up when they contemplate the content of Consciousness when they experience zero absolute ground they experience the Bliss and the freedom of the of the uncorrupted purity of that deepest dimension of their own self and they experience it as uncorrupted Purity people whose egos are interfering with it can't experience it as uncorrupted Purity they experience it as pleasantness but they not they can't see or experience or even recognize the uncorrupted purity of what they're experiencing because their ego is just is interfering but um but this is essential this is It's essential to unearth this uncorrupted purity of motivation has nothing to do with the ego inside yourself at the very beginning and once you do that that has to become home that has to become who you really recognize yourself to be that you're not the ego you're not the separate self but you are that uncorrupted purity of motivation that you unearth or discover or awaken to when you go back to zero back to before the beginning because what we want to do is we want to is we want to die and be rebor you know to put it in in metaphorical terms we want to die and be die and be reborn that's how how this works and it does really work that way if you take it all the way only if you do that if you take it all the way a lot of people don't take it all the way but if you take it all the way it's literally dying to who you were and being reborn a new and fundamentally the being reborn a new is you're being reborn because now the essential driver in yourself and your person is this pure motivation it's a different source of motivation and that does change everything so your personality is still there your ego is still there but the but fundamentally what's driving it all is the source of pure motive it's uncorrupted and uh that's what we want to do that's the kind of the big shift we want to make so in order to discover the source of pure motivation we have to go back to before the beginning you can't find the source of pure motivation unless you go back all the way back to before the beginning you follow all the way back to before the beginning and that's where you find it
