my experience has been the last few days is just of penetrating with you know this inner discipline you know seeing ego coming in and its all its many manifestations and just being able to sit still through that storm and um mainly because of your teaching and everything i've learned over the years through that teaching about that part and being able to actually see it the first time where i actually can get to zero from this very kind of real place it feels very um solid the reason that you're the reason i think that you uh are having the kind of experience you're describing has to do with the strength of your own intention at the moment that that's that's why it's happening in the way that it is it's because it's because your own intention has become so clear and strong that's the reason because once again when the intention is that clear and strong you don't have to rely on experience anymore that's cool isn't it it's very cool it's very cool because now i know that i can do this this is yeah you know that you're going to do it i'm going to do this no the way you were speaking it wasn't i know i can't it's not even i'm going to see the issue is what you know what you're going to do in the future is what is the insurance if you don't know what's going to happen in the future then you have no insurance policy i realized that pretty early on the issue here is not really the present as much as it is the future it's not the past of the president's the future so that means you already knowing what your position is going to be next week next month next year 10 years from now is what seals the deal having a cool experience now and feeling pretty cool now that's fine i mean that's nice nice pleasant inspiring positive but absolutely having no doubt about tomorrow is everything and that's what builds is kind of you know this that that's what creates incredibly strong men and women is that having no doubt about the future which is all related to intention what we're talking about that's where everything comes from but if you're not so sure about tomorrow or next week or next year we can end up anywhere it's very powerful and you want if you want to watch your ego freak out just think about that it's the instant way to get people terrified i think if you want to provoke people's egos all you have to start talking about letting go of the future and you watch the ego start going into panic the ego's much more invested in the future than it is in the past so i think that's just an interesting way to think about it very liberating very revealing when you when you kind of get the egos really invested in the future everybody says it's you have to let go of the past well we take that for you know what if you're holding on to the past in any way that is inhibiting one's capacity for freedom in the present of course that's true that's always going to be true but in fact the ego is much more invested in the future which is mine to do what i want to do for me so the ego is very invested in the future so when you start messing around with the future in relationship to the to spiritual intentionality then you start finding out what people are really made of and also as i was talking yesterday about spiritual self-confidence comes from abandoning any other option for the future except your own unconditional liberation for the sake of the evolution of consciousness culture and cosmos abandoning other other possibility is what liberates the soul that's where the spiritual self-confidence comes from you
