Pyramid Valley Retreat Jan 5th - 12th 2020

[Music] hello everyone I'm speaking to you here from beautiful pyramid Valley in southern India just outside Bangalore and it is it is breathtakingly gorgeous here I'm sure you can see that I've been invited to teach here for a while and we're doing this video because we were holding our annual retreat in January which is gonna go for a week we're gonna do it be doing it here and I wanted to speak a little bit about what we're gonna be doing here when we go on retreat we give ourselves to awakening to our own potential for enlightenment and when we do that seriously we can go very very deep and in my retreats that usually happens to most people so what we're gonna be exploring first and foremost is the nature of God what is God who is God what is the absolute and we're gonna be exploring this question not just philosophically and metaphysically but experientially because on a retreat the idea is to have the kind of experience that's gonna change our life forever and if you're serious that's what's gonna happen to you first and foremost we're gonna explore the nature of being Who am I before the universe was created Who am I before time and space what is that part of each and every one of us that is eternal that's never been born and ever entered in the stream of time it's never good in time but first we want to awaken to the nature of being and once we get established in the nature of being which is the experience of that peace that passes all understanding we're gonna explore the nature of becoming we're gonna explore the nature of the energy and intelligence that created the universe that's creating it right now we're gonna explore the nature of the creative impulse the one who awakened directly to that energy and intelligence that created the universe and is making it possible for us to have this conversation right now that's making it possible for life to be blooming and in all its glory and the way it is here and we want to awaken directly to what that is that's the absolute in a process of becoming a creative becoming when we discovered the nature of God is creative becoming we awaken simultaneously to our own usually unexamined and unrecognized potential to be a co-creator of the universe and when we discover our potential to co-create the universe with the energy and intelligence that creating that's creating it right now we discover a super power and I literally mean it super super power we discover a sense of inspiration and confidence that feels unstoppable and when we feel that kind of pure positivity vibrating and pulsating through us we know that if we're really committed anything is possible and finally what we're gonna do on this retreat is we're gonna learn how to come together with other human beings so we can meet in this co-creative intelligence and the awakening to this co-creative intelligence so we can really find the solution to the human predicament because this is to be human predicament right now it's not that we've created wicked problems that we can't solve the biggest wicked problem right now is that we can't seem to be able to come together to solve the wicked problems that only we have created so in a context like this when we directly experience to find a way to come together with other human beings who have awakened to this cosmic creative energy and intelligence we realize it doesn't need to be anything between us it's gonna interfere with us being able to not only solve problems that we've created but come up with new ideas and new possibilities to create a much better a much more beautiful so we're really going to do all this in a week I know it sounds impossible but it isn't I've done it many times and I'm going to do it again with all of you and welcome to all of you to come and join me here thank you [Music]
