The Evolution of God: Rev Michael Beckwith & Andrew Cohen

[Music] people have this idea of Heaven being some fixed place that you're going to go to and it's over whereas where when what we're talking about here is something that is evolving forever how do you think the energy and intelligence that initiated this whole process for 15 billion years ago or so that is still driving how do you think that that energy and intelligence feels about the process itself tired that's a good question though because energy doesn't get tired weary frustrated [Music] yeah uh a person can be a sinner whatever a bad person a person that's done some very negative things and have an insult and suddenly see the real nature of his or her being and then suddenly the universe starts rushing through them in ways of such profund of creativity and love or whatever and people will say well how did that happen to that person I knew that guy that guy was a terrible guy and now all these he's glowing and all these wonderful things are happening because the the presence doesn't care is not respector a person's only Consciousness what if what if God said look I've been helping you for the last 50,000 years now I desperately need you to help me because obviously we can see that unless we unless we begin to assume that role we what's going to happen we we know we can see where things are had it I mean it's it's a it's it's it's a philosophical question but it's also literally true we and I think I think we have to give up this this notion that that someone else is taking care of it that someone else is is in the driver's seat [Music]
