Andrew Cohen: If You Were God...

if you were god and you had been abiding for billions of eons of no time as that groundless ground if you can think from your point of view and remember it's been a long period of no time where everything was perfect because nothing had happened yet the only thing possibly for there to be for you to do if you were going to do anything would would be to create a material universe in your own image what wouldn't be anything else to do what would you do build a mcdonald's and have a hamburger you have to think big if you're god you only think big and everything's small so if that's what you were going to do you'd have to take that big leap boom and you jump and you do it's the big bang happened then that's the beginning so then the process starts and it's taking you 14 billion billion years from energy light matter to life the consciousness the self-reflective awareness to the evolved human brain to begin to have the capacity to cognize what you started so you haven't been able to experience directly experience your own creation what you actually did what you started because you as i said earlier today you've been too embedded in the process and you knew that was going to have to happen you knew that you were going to lose touch with what you did because you weren't going to have because in and through matter you weren't going to have the means or the capacity to feel and see and know what you've done it's going to take which is going to take a while of course infused with the whole process was your intention all along so your intention to do this was constant and ever-present and unbroken but your capacity to actually cognize it wasn't that hadn't emerged yet and you knew that was going to happen it's like so it's like taking a deep breath with your eyes closed and then there's still suddenly sensation feeling or all and then suddenly he's you know it's like then you wake up oh right so the universe project was your original intention to do this so i like what i call in this teaching the universe project was your or god's original intention god's the energy and intelligence that initiated the creative process was your original intention behind the urge to create the universe
