could you define to me what uh first what the traditional definition of third stream MH was or means and then and then your interpretation of it for for the present for me third stream is a is is a now is a verb it's something you do is you take you take two things and you make something whereas some people see well it's Jazz and classical okay and then there was discussion oh well we call it you should call it fourth or fifth stream because there all these or all stream you know yeah so but now they call it contemporary improv department but um yeah I I don't consider myself third stream I consider myself a third streamer it's not something that I am it's something I do and I guess as more people begin to do that as as we've been discussing I mean the future music is going to change I I think we live in a global village and you know every is at your fingertips you know uh there used to be the complaint for for listeners oh you know it's the you know the masses aren't exposed to it that was kind of the one criticism of uh why the music industry wasn't moving forward with weren't exposed to what well let's say in the mid 80s you know there was no internet so whatever you got in the radio and MTV or in the local store that's it yeah now there's really no excuse for oh I I wasn't exposed to it oh I didn't have access to it I mean the problem right now is actually there's there's too much information that's true but uh you know any you know any second you could check out Indian music online you could go to Turkish music sites you could you know and you can listen to everyone has their or at least they have clips of their music uh uh on line that's actually how I got turned on to some of these microtonal composers is there something you're trying to do with your music and through your music in terms of conveying uh not only kind of an emotional experience but is there is there any implicit explicit a kind of philosophical spiritual message that you're trying to convey or is it or is it or is it or is it strictly within the realm of wanting to convey an emotion through music is is there is there is there is it more or getting to a hopefully a space of of of Peace um obviously I guess screaming headless torso is the more cathartic approach but to a certain extent so was ma Vishnu I mean uh birds of fire uh I I I still listen to that and uh his solo is almost like a a a burning fire of of flames and it's kind of it obliterates everything and then it it gets to another space umh explicitly there's a piece that we did last night called Cult of the internal Sun mhm um it's about tuning in into the the your own Inner Light right um so piece called fuel Farms where we we have uh clean fuel right you know we don't we don't pollute um I'm a bit of a Dost I I enjoy the the the idea of we're on a path and uh there are many paths to follow and you have to be wise and choose not only the right path but the uh a positive path but also the right path for you um I don't meditate I should could use some help um but it's it's it's um I don't consider myself a A Healer or a spiritual teacher but I hope people will walk away feeling uplifted and and inspired maybe to do something in their own life in their own field do you think there's something about the nature of kind of any great art you know in this case music that when it's that's when it's really performed you know with with excellence and heart that that something Transcendent that's inherent that's inherent spiritual by nature is is really is brought forth you know descends enters into the world I I absolutely I I feel I feel like uh we tune into something and or something tunes into us right um I played uh with the great drummer Bob Moses um and his he had an interesting thing to say he said to a certain extent we're we're the instruments in a music store of spirits and you know if you if you're positive and you try and do something really you know uh wonderful on your instrument you kind of Express that the way you dress and the way you look and the way you act and he said you know in a way we're kind of an instrument hanging on a wall and these these Spirits are kind of looking around like wow wow check out Andrew I'm GNA pick up Andrew I'm going to jam out on Andrew tonight man you know so if you want to call it God or the Dow or or Spirits out there tuning in I it's I I definitely think there's something happens [Music] absolutely [Music] well cuz some sometimes you can do too much for your the good and follow in the wrong PA you your dreams get down on your knees my mind is a re let love I say my mind is a river let it my mind K the river Let it Fly my mind the river let it let it it it it oh mind my mind is a let [Music] stop
