[Music] in life you know if you want to make a difference in life you have to have a lot of self-confidence you have to have a lot of self-confidence not a little bit is not enough you have an enormous amount of selfconfidence you're make difference in the world and in this case and in this case the self-confidence is not for your ego it's to give you the the the the um the strength kind of spiritual strength to carry on no matter what other people say you have to have a lot of self-confidence or spiritual self-confidence to do that otherwise in an in an unbelieving cynical nihilistic the spirit the spirit doesn't won't survive right huh so you need an enormous amount of spiritual self-confidence and I believe spiritual self-confidence a moral position in Rel reltionship to change and evolution spiritual virtue because remember the issue here for us is at this point has to do with culture where where we are at at a level of shared culture rather than where we are as individuals so the challenge for us is cultural development as ourselves all of you must see that where we've come to at the level of culture is no longer sufficient for example I I often tell people imagine imagine just for a moment that global warming was not a problem imagine that was solved and imagine that environmental pollution was this problem that was solved imagine overpopulation was a problem that was Sol imagine the wars in Africa and the wars in the Middle East were all solved you can still see where we are at at the edge of in terms of culture even if all those problems we still we're still stuck can you see it we need we need to see the way forward and most people have no vision of what the way forward is so it makes it easier for people to see the predicament that we're facing as a shared cultural predicament when you temporarily when you tempor temporarily relieve the stress of all the larger survival issues we fac then the then the predicament we're in at the level of culture comes to the Sur you follow so you can see that we you know we are there's an urgent necessity that we're able to kind of were able to forge your way forward but before we do to see it you have to awaken at the level of intuition to what's the next step is we that has to be awakened within our shared culture
